The concept of Papillon is to create a radio experience through a pavilion. Amplify radio events to a public space, and allow people to engage with news, music and shows.

Form Exploration
Papillon's design was inspired by the combination of Nature, Sound Physics, and Thin Shell Architecture.
Quick mock-ups helped understand the structure, that is why Papillon's design is a thin concrete shell composed of 16 parts.
A 3D printed model was made to show the idea and to experiment if a structure constructed with 16 parts could be achieved in a small scale easily.
